A Message From Our President

Welcome to the International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 301 Website.  The I.B.P.O. 301 has the distinct honor of representing all of the sworn members of the Cranston Police Department. Our union is comprised of approximately 150 brave men and women who selflessly serve their community with honor, respect, and dignity. For the last fifteen years, I have had the opportunity to work beside each of these individuals and now it is my honor to represent every one of them as their Union President. The I.B.P.O. 301 is the birthplace of the International Brotherhood of Police Officers and has a long and proud history. It was built on the courage of individuals who stood together against inequity, even when doing so put their careers at risk. Those original pioneers demonstrated great leadership qualities for many future I.B.P.O. members to follow;  it will be my goal to maintain the high standards of those who came before me.  I have full confidence in the members of our union, as I have watched them work with great effort to protect the community that they serve. I am also very enthusiastic to work together with our elected members who are eager to help grow and evolve this union for years to come.  I invite you to browse our website and discover the history of the I.B.P.O. 301.
